Some Fun at the Theatre
I thought those of you who frequent the Arts Club on Granville Island might be interested in knowing that one of those Moms of the soon to open "Mum's the Word: Unhinged" is one of my kids. Deb Williams has been active on the Vancouver scene for many years and this play is a sequel to their very successful original of 10 years ago.
There's much trepidation and excitement as the opening approaches -- will it be as well received? Cross your fingers.

Ron Roberts' Email
I sent an email to Ron and it came back undeliverable. As I'm going to be passing through Darwin, Australia in November, I'd like to make contact with him. Does anyone have a new email address or a phone number for him?
Thanks,
Maureen (Dowling) Sawkins / msawkins7@hotmail.com

Maureen: Sherry (Willman) Franklin informs that Ron has just completed a cross-Canada trip and is curently in Sidney on Vancouver Island. His current email address is uncleron99@shaw.ca — Gary

Almost November!
It is hard to believe that it is almost Nov. 1 It seems like yesterday that I saw a lot of you people at the Oak Bay High do and the sunday walk.
We've had a good summer here in Denmark, and an incredible fall with good temps and not much wind which has been good for the bike trips around this island.
I've become a grandfather (called Farfar here in Denmark, directly translated as Fathers father) to a lovely girl with long dark hair. Being a grandfather isn't too bad, but sleeping with a grandmother is really tough to handle.
When is the next get together??

Next Get Together
Hi Don,
I am sure the rest of the class join me in congratulations on the birth of your grand daughter.
Although nothing has been planned, it does not take too much to get a bunch of us together and maybe this spring we could come up with an excuse.
While I am writing, we lost Jack Harness (class of 31) a few days ago. He was at our 75th and sat for a photo with two other members of the class.
There are also a couple of additions to our scrap book. A nice photo of Sharon Kirk Mason and her son Jason, plus a reunion picture of Margot Baker Opseth and Moira Jackson Bandurka. They had not seen one another in over 40 yrs and met again this summer in Saskatchewan.

Grandfather George
When my daughter was expecting my first grand child, she asked me what I wanted to be called. I thought for a moment and replied "Sir" That was ten years ago and I am still waiting.
All the best in the election.
