Reunion next weekend
Hi All
I am leaving for Victoria tomorrow, Monday, and hope to see many of you at this reunion do and dance.
Is there any chance of having a walk early in the week after the reunion Dave?? This could mean an extra gathering of the clan. I really enjoyed the one that I attended a couple of years ago.

Class Walk on Sunday, May 8th (Mothers Day)
Hi All,
The walk on Sunday will begin at 10 am at the Oak Bay Marina parking lot. Look for a group of 60-something, gray-haired folks milling about near the exit. Most will be chatting with great enthusiasm as if they have unexpectedly met acquaintances from a past life. If you miss the start and wish to catch us on route, follow the Avenue to the village, turn right on Hampshire, walk to Bowker Creek, turn right through the bypass to Monterey, to Cranmore and down to Beach Drive and hence to the Marina. We should be buying coffee and doughnuts at the Marina cafe about 10:45 or 11. If the weather is warm and comfortable you'll find us outside lounging on the benches near the breakwater.

Greetings from Wendy (Hocking) McKay
Hello Classmates:
Greeting from Woodlawn, Ontario
I have enjoyed receiving the class updates and the information on the Oak Bay Reunion.  Unfortunately Bill and I cannot join you this time because he is having major surgery this coming Wednesday.  We feel very positive about the outcome.  Just keep us informed about plans for the next reunion and we'll plan on being there.
Have a great time...I'll be thinking of you and looking forward to photos being posted.
Best Wishes,
Wendy

The 75th OBHS weekend
The weekend was really fun, full of action and renewal of friendships. I put in bids at the silent auction, and much to my surprise, got 2 items. Some of the items were wonderful (cruises from the Marina, paintings etc.) but mine were a nice shirt for a man with the Scottish colours and flag embossed, also a book and set of teas.
There's always so much happening that it's hard to take it all in. I particularly liked the way the school handled the current students becoming involved, ie. serving tea dressed in old clothes from the '50s. Also the way they took us around for tours at the drop of a hat. All in all, a good impression was given that things are just as good as they ever were. I also thought the Friday evening's talent show was so wonderful = Steve Ivings being the MC, and the jokes, music, dance etc. Very enjoyable.
A Job Well Done!
