July 3 / Thank You!!
Deep gratitude to all who made this amazing party a reality. You know who you are!! I don't have words to say how reaquainting with my classmates these past two years has so enriched my already very rich and blessed life!
I have a real love affair blooming with Victoria, the city I escaped from so many years ago, and I know that began with the 2000 reunion. My heart is full.
Blessings and much Love to everyone.

July 12 / UVic celebrations
To all in our group who may have graduated from UVic, class of 1964...
You should have received by now a letter from UVic asking if you are interested in a special convocation to include 1964 graduates which they are planning for June 6, 2003. The alumni office wants to hear from anyone who would like to attend by July 31. I met Nels Granewall, fellow '64 grad and retired Alumni organiser the other day, and he asked me to remind you — and to alert anyone who graduated that year who may not have received the letter.
If you want to be involved, please call the UVic Alumni Office at 1-250-721-6000, or email: alumni@uvic.ca
The numbers responding will determine what is planned, apparently. Hope to see you there!

July 15 / The Sixty Party
Who'd have thunk it. We are all getting to the sixty year mark.
Unfortunately my wife, Kirsten, and I were not at the bash at Craig's due to number one son being named as a Sergeant in the Danish army.
Gosh but I am envious after seeing Joan's and Richard's pics. I feel as if I was there, and can almost hear the conversations that took place.
Other than that, Summer came the week after I had my three weeks holidays (really rotten weather all three weeks). I informed my boss a few months ago that I will quit after my sixtieth on 19 Nov. this year. (Who's counting?)
People at work don't understand it, but after having seen how many of you guys had retired 2 years ago, I thought that 'nuff was 'nuff. My boss asked me to make a list of all the things that I do and am responsible for. If he didn't know, I guess he'll find out. I'm planning on changing my phone number.
All the best from Denmark

July 15 / Don's Retirement
Well done Don! I am sure your retirement is well deserved, and obviously your boss has given you a lot of free rein over the years when he does not know exactly what you do. Being asked to make a list would jump start my off-the-wall humour.
Yes, you missed a great party but hopefully it will not be the last and perhaps with a lot of luck, you can make it for the next event.

July 16 / Birthday Party
I would like to add my thanks and appreciation to the organizing committee. The birthday party was so well planned and it was obvious that much work and love was put into it. Thanks too Craig and Deb and dogs for sharing your beautiful space with us.
A memorable time!! And a food footnote. The salmon was just awesome.

July 24 / Rik Revfem
So far I have missed both gatherings of the class — next one, no excuses. I am living in Powell River, BC and have just retired after 30 years of teaching high school.
Look forward to seeing you all soon. In the meantime, I am selling my floathouse and Richard suggested I might put my website on the chat line. If you have never toured a floathome, check it out.
