| In a recent email from John I was provided with the following link to his web page. Although retired, John is actively involved in many aspects of zoology. He is doing well after successful corneal surgery on one eye and I understand the other is to be done in the near future. We all wish him our best. |

Homecoming Walk |

Dave has asked me to advise class members of a homecoming walk to take place on Friday, September 22nd at 11a.m. Rumours abound that class members residing in Washington State and Ontario have expressed an interest to join us for this autumn finale which will be a great opportunity to re-connect with old friends. |
| We'll park along the waterfront near the Ogden Point Breakwater for an 11 a.m. departure and folks who don't want to walk so far should park across from the flag pole at Beacon Hill. If any class mates find walking difficult, drive to the pub and meet us there. |
| We will walk along Dallas Road waterfront and pass through the historic Ross Bay Cemetery to our destination which will be the Fairfield Pub at the Fairfield Shopping Centre. If the weather is co operative, we can sit in the outside patio. |
