The 50th Reunion
It was fun to see so many classmates on Friday night -- what I'll remember is the laughter ringing throughout the gymnasium. Thank you to the organizing committee and to all those who attended from near and far. It was lovely to see you.

Reunion
Thank you again to everyone involved in creating such a wonderful reunion. It was so much fun; it was as if the fifty years did not exist as we fell easily into conversations with "old" friends. Sandra McKeachie, you are a trooper. I was amazed to see you on the dance floor Saturday night.

Our Reunion
I too enjoyed the reunion and happy that so many were able to make it.
I have just launched a web page for us where we can share photos and videos taken over the three days. You can get there by clicking on 50th Reunion on the tool bar above and then save it with your favourites. Not much there yet but watch it grow.
And Sandy, great courage there m'girl. Way to go!

Reunion, Photo Gallery, Archives
What a great weekend! Thank you again to all the organizers and volunteers.
The photo gallery is a great idea Richard, and once again, thank you for all of your hard work.
I didn't realize that I looked like such a "wiener" with the Booster Club hat on while giving my address. The good news is that yesterday I donated the hat and all my other memorabilia to the high school archives. Thus, you won't see it on my head again.
By the way, the archivist is interested in just about anything you want to donate from both Oak Bay Junior and Senior High Schools.

Reunion from afar
Just to add my two cents worth, Myself and Kirsten enjoyed the weekend.
I had a bottle of Xmas 'Snaps' or Aquavit from 2002. Some people collect these but the sensible people drink them with great pleasure. Ron McMicking won this and I spoke to him and he knew how to drink this potatoe 'brandy.
I forgot, however to tell him the tradition in imbibing in this sort of drink. It is usually taken with pickled herring which is a starter. The tradition says that fish have to swim!
The other tenet is that if you have only one you will limp, so you have to have no. 2 and then if you have no. 3 then....
Anyway, we've arrived home safely, and the jet lag is slowly subsiding.
All the best

Video
Just to let everyone know that Dale is presently editing hours of footage that he took at our reunion. There will be an announcement when it is done and when you might expect it in the mail. There will also be a Youtube promo for it. Also keep the photos coming in. We have a large gallery and it is growing.
