Greetings from Gerald Skinner |
Richard received this email from Gerald Skinner who is now living in the U.K. His contact information has now been updated in our Keeping In Touch section and his bio has been updated in the Class Bios section. |
Dear Richard,
|
Good to hear from you. |
I came across the class website by accident and thought I would update my entry in case anyone would like to get in touch with me. |
Yes, I am living permamently in Oxford (and am a tutor at Oxford University) with my wife Ilham. |
I retired from the Canadian Foreign Service several years ago after a career that took me to Central and Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East (I was in Bonn as Germany moved toward reunification, and in Russia when communism fell). Working out of Cairo, I was one of the Canadian participants in the Oslo Middle East Peace Process, and have been Head of Mission in a number of European and Central Asian countries. |
This might be of some interest to our classmates. |
Best regards and warm wishes, |
Gerald |

Tom Hatcher |
For those who attended Oak Bay Junior High, you may remember Tom Hatcher who taught science and math. Tom passed away last week in Victoria. His wife Ann was also a teacher and died in 2001. |
