FRAINE, Zoel Geraldine July 10, 1942 December 7, 2008 Zoel was a beautiful, vivacious, intelligent, warmhearted person who loved life and lived it as fully as possible. She epitomized the word friend and had many wonderful, rich friendships. Zoel adored and was adored by her family. Born in Kenora, Ont.,Lake of the Woods, the only child of Denton and Geraldine Fraine, Zoel graduated from Oak Bay High School and went on to receive her B. of Ed. at U Vic. She taught remedial reading for many years in the North Vancouver and Duncan School Districts. Zoel was an active member of our community who enjoyed many years as a member of a womens group, and bridge club. She was also passionate about travelling and fortunate to visit many places with friends and family. Zoel's passing leaves an aching void in the hearts of those who loved her; particularly her sons Richard and Ian Sulsbury, their wives Olga and Holly, her treasured grandchildren Sara and Alec and her mother Geraldine. Zoel is also dearly loved and sorely missed by her uncle Dennis Stone and family, her aunt Audrey Fraine and family, her cousin Denton Powles and family and her sister-in-law Anne Sangha and her family. There will be no funeral service at Zoel's request. There will be a memorial to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that you donate to either the Canadian Cancer Society or Stephen Lewis Foundation. 517094
