Somewhere there is a Pez dispenser from 1954, but I did have a trunk containing an assortment of childhood relics that was a regular time capsule that my mother inadvertently gave to the Goodwill in the early '60s. Among the many things were a few mint Superman comics, a Prussian officer's helmet, a rusted bayonet, a pair of pearl handled Hopalong Cassidy cap pistols and holsters (probably worth a mint on eBay) some native artifacts, two tiny palm sized water pistols that were a fad about 1955, a Crown Royal bag of marbles, a Daisy Red Ryder BB carbine, an autographed photo of Roy Rogers, a gold pan from the trail of '98, a fine example of shabby literature, a red Cheerio yo yo and scores of other oddities too numerous to mention.
