Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas, everyone — Gary

Canada Pension
It took me over two years and a trip through Canadian Government departments, but in the end it worked!
The first hurdle was to get the application forms. There was a Danish department tnat meant it should go through them and this delayed the project by 6 months. Then I had to find out what my SIN number was. This took another 4 months. Then I sent the application form and end 2008 I got a cheque for some sort of Pension.
Then I got a letter for another form for another type of pension. This required witnesses as to when I left Canada, and thanks to help from Paul Lawrance and Tom Miles, I received a cheque for 7000+ Danish Kroner for two years pension.
To top it all off my bank took the cheque in kroner and put in to my account as CAD which is worth about 5 times the krone so I feel that my bank gave me a Christmas present. I doubt that this will last.
Anyways, I am thankful for the small amount that I receive.
I hope that one and all have had a Merry Christmas and wish that 2010 will be a happy and prosperous.
