Roy's Paintings
Roy Mercer has just launched his new web site where you can read his career biography and view a gallery of his paintings.
Since graduation, Roy has pursued a career in art with emphasis on graphic design and architectural illustrations.
More recently he has concentrated on commissioned pet portraits with many fine examples featured in his gallery.

Lynne's Website
I have just finished viewing Lynne Schulnik's new web site where you can see a gallery of her work and read a short biography regarding her career in art. After studying in New York, Lynne has enjoyed many successful years in commercial art and illustration. More recently she has devoted more time to her "Plein air painting in oil"

The Group of Four
Having introduced Roy and Lynne's new web sites, I cannot leave without re visiting the other two artists in our class - Laurel Johnson and Lynda Faulks.
Laurel Johnson works in oil, acrylic, watercolour and pastel. She attended White Rock Fine Arts School and was provided instruction by Florida artist Jean Grasdorf and Toronto artist Brian Atteo. She is also a member of the South Delta Artists' Guild. A few years ago, Laurel also launched a web site where we can view her gallery.

Lynda Faulks studied at the Vancouver School of Art following graduation and has earned numerous degrees including: Bachelor of Secondary Art Education 1968, UBC (Vancouver, BC) and Master of Art Education 1986, University of Victoria (Victoria, BC)
Since 1968, she has been a high school teacher in art as well as enjoying a successful career in commissioned painting.

Roger Lacroix
We are very sorry to tell you that Roger, husband of Tammy (Hinch) Lacroix, passed away on April 14th. Very sincere sympathy is extended to Tammy and family at this time — Richard

LACROIX Brigadier General Roger Lucien (76) passed away peacefully with his family by his side on April 14th, 2007. He is survived by his loving wife Tasma Lee, his children Paul, Julie (Chris), Christine (George) and Danielle (Gary), and his grandchildren Alex, Taylor, Stefan, Chloe, Christian and Francis. Ancestors of the Lacroix Family settled in Canada in 1642. He will be greatly missed by the Lacroix family. In lieu of flowers send loving thoughts and/or donations to Victoria Hospice. A celebration of his life will be held in Victoria, BC in mid-August, as well as in Hawksbury, Ontario on Sunday September 2nd, 2007. 360607
